At the beginning of the summer my best friend/second shooter, Charlotte, sent me a text and asked if I could do her a favor. She needed me to run to the Community Farmers Market and pick up her CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) because she didn't have time to get there before they closed up shop. Of course I said no problem and ran to get it. When I showed up I met Hannah, Jesse and Further and I decided to sign up for the year and get my veggies from their farm too!
When they found out that I was a photographer they told me of their need for photos. They asked me to come out to their farm one afternoon and I had the pleasure of seeing where my food was coming from and taking photos of their beautiful little family. They are an inspiring couple that lives off the grid in their self built cabin, farming and living simply in this modern world.
Recently they have decided to move closer to family and won't be selling CSAs in Bowling Green anymore. Although I'm sad to hear this news I'm happy for them as well. I'm glad I got my vegetables from them this year and wish them all the luck in their move at the end of the harvest season.
