Chad + Sarah

I love every family, engagement, wedding, etc. session I do but this one holds a special place in my heart because most of it I took using my film camera (in case any photogs out there want the info: I used Portra 400 on my 35mm Pentax K1000).

Chad and Sarah's engagement shoot was pretty last minute but I'm so glad they decide to let me take portraits of them before their I do's. I shot these pictures on Father's Day, just a month before their wedding. We had only one location and it was their very charming apartment! They both confessed they thought it was going to be a bit awkward but I assured them I would make them comfortable and they warmed up to the camera quickly. I even had them put on one of Sarah's favorite records and slow dance hoping that would loosen them up. I hope they cherish these pictures I took in their very first home.
