Olivia and Matthew's wedding day was filled with so much southern charm. The girls got ready in the bridal cottage at the Historic Potter Farm. It was full of family and friends as Olivia slipped into her blush bridal gown while the boys played cards at a family friend's house just down the road.
Olivia had a little practical joke to play on her groom and set up a fake first look where her brother pretended to be her. Matthew turned around and there was his soon-to-be brother-in-law. Laughter erupted from everywhere when Matthew realized it wasn't his bride. It helped with everyone's nerves and added some comic relief to the day. After the laughter stopped, we set up the first look again and a different kind of joy filled the air.
After that, we drove down an old country gravel road where we took some beautiful portraits before the ceremony. The ceremony was held outside and the reception was in the barn. I really enjoyed shooting this wedding and I hope you enjoy reliving the day. Thanks to everyone who made this day special for the Blacks.
